Joey Buttram’s Seminar Topic:
Fundamentals of Indiana Walleye
Joey is the owner of Willowpine Outdoors, a media production company that focuses on podcasts, videos, articles and other sources of online journalism. Joey is also the Public Relations Director for the Indiana Walleye Anglers Association. Joey is an avid walleye and crappie angler, but he grew up traveling the US with his family fishing some of the premier largemouth bass lakes in the country. As a teenager his relationship with walleye began while wading the inlet and outlet creeks of Cataract Lake. The obsession grew from there, and he now targets walleye on such lakes as Brookville, Lake Erie, Lake Monroe, Eagle Creek, Hamlin Lake, Prairie Creek, Heritage Lake, and many other quality walleye fisheries around the mid-west.
When he’s not fishing, Joey enjoys time on and off the water with his 4 year old son Archer Hamlin Buttram. Joey also spends a lot of fall hours chasing waterfowl and whitetail deer. In addition to working in the outdoor industry, Joey does sales and marketing in the industrial engineering field.
